Having a destination wedding does not mean that you are not able to send your guests a save the date card or magnet. You can use a save the date destination wedding for those guests that you would like to have attend your wedding. However, in most situations the number of cards or magnets that you order are generally less.
In most cases, a save the date wedding destination notice is given out in advance enough to allow the guests to be able to set aside the funds to attend the wedding. Typically, you would send out the save the date card at least 10 weeks in advance of your wedding date.

Save the dateĀ wedding invites are a great way to inform all of your friends and family members of your upcoming nuptials. They can be creative and fun or elegant and classy. The styles that are available are almost endless. You can choose from virtually every color scheme under the sun to make sure they flow smoothly with the scheme of your wedding.
Save the date wedding invites should be sent to only people that you will be sending a formal invitation to your wedding. This will let those people know that you have, indeed set a date for your wedding and that their presence is requested at your wedding. If you send a save the date card to a person that is not going to be on your guest list, you will find that you have hurt feelings of those you did not invite.

Many brides and grooms are taking advantage of the opportunity to use save the date wedding cards for their guests. Unfortunately, not as many brides and grooms truly understand the concept behind a save the wedding card. They leave important things off of the cards, they send them out to everyone they know and they simply get in over their head.
We are going to help you understand and clarify the concept behind the save the date wedding card as well as make sure you know about the important things that need to be on the cards for your guests.
A save the date wedding card is just that. It is a card or magnet that tells your prospective wedding guests to save the date for your wedding. They are not announcement cards, they are only for the people that you will be sending a wedding invitation to. If you do not plan on inviting someone to the wedding, do not send them a save the date card. Otherwise, you are having people save the date for no reason!
